There will be a River Update Meeting to discuss implementation of the Los Angeles River Revitalization Master Plan (LARRMP). This will be a two-part session in which City staff will first discuss LARRMP implementation activities from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, and then the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) will discuss scoping for the Los Angeles River Ecosystem Restoration Feasibility Study from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. During the first session, City staff will provide progress reports on a variety of topics related to the LARRMP, including:
• The River Improvement Overlay (RIO) District
• The Cornfields Arroyo Seco Specific Plan (CASP)
• The River Authority
• Discussion on River access and uses
• The River Revitalization Corporation
• The River Foundation
• Various River projects

Is the San Gabriel River Watershed healthy? What defines a healthy watershed? This conference will bring together leaders from various fields to consider and discuss how their work informs our understanding of watershed health and how their ongoing projects improve watershed health. Mixing experts of different backgrounds will highlight the common threads in our work and strengthen collaboration among.
